Look at the tests of the Thunder Child boat, which is impossible to sink

It returns to its original position even with a 180 degree turn. Do not believe me? Look at the video from the tests at the end of the article.
With the help of a crane, the Thunder Child boat was turned upside down, after which it safely returned to its normal position.

Thunder Child, also known as XSV 17, is an innovative prototype for commercial, search and rescue operations. It has an original hull shape, which allows the boat to move both in the breakwater mode and in the airframe mode. V-shaped bottom allows to reduce the resistance of water when driving at high speeds.

Another design feature - hydraulically controlled ribs in the bow, which allow to reduce the depth of the nose plunging when leaving the wave. Thanks to two Caterpillar C12.9 engines with a capacity of 1000 hp each. the maximum speed reaches 56 knots, and cruising speed - 45 knots.

Inside there are 12 carbon chairs, each on its own suspension for better damping of shock loads. By the way, thanks to the modular design, the Thunder Child can easily be converted into a military one.
